Andre Bertin would have come up with the name Milremo, it would be a combination of the names MILano and sanREMO. Bertin was a cyclist who started his own bicycle brand after his career. In that period, many bicycle brands got an Italian touch in their name, hence the name Milremo. Most Bertin racing bikes therefore received the Milremo parts as standard. These parts were made by other wellknown manufacturers and had Milremo stamped in
