Vintage Colnago Super Profile 1984.
Or is it a Nuovo Mexico? For the purists among us: Colnago officially calls the bikes with one 'shrink' in the down tube 'Super Profil' and two 'shrinks' 'Nuovo Mexico'. Both bikes were a transition from the regular round tubes to the profiled tubes in the Master series.
This bicycle was personally (documented) collected from Freddy Maertens by the current owner.
It is therefore quite possible that this bike was part of the then team ('81 - '82)

It is a pity that it is almost impossible to link a serial number to a date.
Only writing to Colnago can clear things up but now that this is in Arab hands...
